Abstract

This article will analyze from a qualitative standpoint the social conceptions held by men and women regarding the gender violence and the way in which they influence the way in which it becomes normal and gets spread in family, society and institution systems. Given this context, the text will describe how the cultural effects influence the above-mentioned systems, generating social conceptions which entail violent facts in each one of them and affect women’s participation and incidence processes in social and power scenarios, with the purpose of being awarded a master degree in Intrafamilial Violence and Gender Studies.
